The new Norton floor maintenance pads offer a variety of uses on concrete and natural stone floors. From deep cleaning to regular maintenance cleaning, these pads are the answer to your floor finishing issues.
Deep Cleaning
After you clean the floor by your normal wet or dry method, begin with our coarse pad working across the floor evenly using four or five passes for lighter machines and less with heavier machines. Scratches are removed or greatly reduced and floor is left smooth and clean.
If you are looking for a honed or silky look, you can apply our medium grit pad and make three or four passes over the floor.
For a shinier surface, you can next change to our fine grit pad and again, make three to four passes over the floor.
Finally, if a deep glossy shine is desired, you can next apply our very fine grit pad and repeat the process. The shine should appear quite rapidly.
Gloss levels achieved are dependent upon the weight of the machine used. The heavier the machine and faster the pad speed, the better the results you will achieve. In most cases, you will want to use the coarse pad wet and the medium to very fine pads dry.
Regular Cleaning
You can maintain the shine level you desire by simply using the Norton diamond floor maintenance pads on a regular basis. This could be as little as once per week depending upon the level of traffic. Once you have determined the shine level you want (medium, fine or very fine), simply use that final pad grit periodically on your auto scrubber or buffer machine. This should be done in conjunction with your normal daily cleaning system.
